Winter has come

Today we are out of school for snow!! Actually I am hoping this settles down tomorrow or we will be having Thanksgiving with only those living close. It has snowed or blew or both since last night. There is a drift in the backyard about 4 feet tall. It is 2 feet taller than the porch. the dogs have decided they prefer to hibernate inside, I am sure Guapo will only go out when forced. The cats have decided if the door opens they will make a dash for it and see what happens, so far they have been kicked out 3 times. You would think they would learn. Someone needs to educate them on what happened to Fubar when he tried that. The humans that live here are staying warm and staying inside.  I really want to get to a hair appointment that I have at 1:30 hopefully the hair stylist will make it as well. Hope Everyone has a great Thanksgiving!! And the roads will be clear for black Friday..

Halloween delights

This year we were able to have three grand kids visit us for trick or treating  which was a fun treat. Elisa and Shayne came home so they went trick or treating with Heather, Kyle and boys. The funny part was that Wesley was saying how heavy his candy bucket was. So when Aunt Jenn looked in it to see why, she found that Wesley had put the ball to the car hitch in his bucket. Wesley had his Dad carry that trick or treating bucket all night because it was heavy. Shane and Jonathan were real interested in the candy bucket but had no idea the fun stuff that was in it. We gave Shayne a sucker that he really enjoyed and ate the whole sucker.

FAMILY FUN

This year we had Matt's family come and visit for a week and we tried to get as much fun as you can into one week. We camped, played games took family pictures, worked with beads, and anything else we could fit in the only thing we didn't get done, was go see the twilight sequel. I still haven't been to see it yet. I sure enjoyed my time with everyone here. On the fourth we had everyone here except Don who was fighting fires in New Mexico, but for 20 people that was pretty good.

Camping done right

After the fourth we decide to go camping. I know it was a chance of mishaps happening, but we actually had lots of fun, not a lot of sleeping the babies decided it was to cold. We discovered that Jack loves to roast marshmallows, but prefers someone else to eat them. Stephen loved to roast them just right. All the kids enjoyed a story by Aunt Amelia.

Family reunion cont.

After golf and the parade we all got together for food and fun. While the turkey is frying everyone decided to play games. The whiffle ball game was fun for everyone weather you watched or played. I did notice that Matt and Stephen both stick out their tongues while playing.

Family Reunion Continued

Family Reunion

It has become the Reddington tradition to gather on the Fourth of July. The women take the children to the parade while the men hit the golf course. Here is the one side of the tradition the men never have pictures because they are busy playing golf.

I have been so bad at posting pictures, I love this picture of Wesley he thought Aunt Jennifer's crutches were pretty cool, and they made really tall. Unfortunately someone had to be right there is help him.

My story is backwards, but here are the pictures if you care start with Hallie's pictures and move up

This drives me crazy my whole post is backwards, but here are some more pictures from the races. Crystal and Elisa getting ready

Race weekend continued

Heather, Kyle and Boys also came and watched the fun. Here is Danny starting his race.

Fun Run Weekend

A Couple of weeks ago Dad Jennifer and I got to watch Elisa, Danny, Crystal and Hallie run a race. Here is Hallie running her race then receiving her medal. Way to go Hallie.
Wow, it is amazing how long I can go without posting. School is out, let the summer begin. As always the day after school gets out it is cold. This last two weeks has been interesting We took Jennifer to a doctor at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake hoping to find out what is happening, but I fear that we are at the same dead end that we have hit many times before. Jennifer's first appointment was on the 17th the Doctor seemed really concerned with the pain in her stomach. He ordered an upper GI to be done in Burley. Jennifer had that done on the 19th and they found a Diverticular in the Duodenum which Dr Graham called and said he didn't know what that meant. Then Jennifer had a scope (where they put you to sleep and send a scope down your throat with a camera attached). After the scope the Doctor came out and told me that he didn't find anything so there fore there wasn't anything. I asked about what the Burley hospital found and he said he couldn't find it. He feels that Jennifer is over stressed and that may be her problem. I feel that we will still have to continue to search for what makes Jennifer throw up all the time and what causes her stomach to hurt.

Life is never dull. At Jennifer's basketball game in Jerome she was kicked on the inside of the knee. So far she has seen two doctors is in a knee brace and on crutches. Tomorrow she has a MRI on her knee. They think she stressed the MCL and are worried that she may have damaged the ACL or the LCL. We still can't figure how she got kicked on the inside of her knee, there was even a shoe print for awhile. This is the last week of the season, last year she broke her hand on the last game of the season. When I get some pictures I will post them, unfortunately Jennifer won't let me take pictures of her when she is looking miserable.

Caitlin's bridal picture

I am really behind on my blogging, I keep thinking I will get to it but I always find I run out of time.
In December Caitlin and Scott were married. We had a wonderful time down in St George and missed some nasty weather here at home. Which made it all that much better. The wedding sure made the holidays busy, but it was awesome.
